Young performers needed!

Are you a young actor aged 16-18yrs who has experience of live performance?  Are you interested in working with a team of professional actors, musicians and makers?  Are you interested in climate action activity?  If you have answered YES to All of the above we would like to hear from you.

 

Theatre Royal in collaboration with our artist in residence Nick Kavanagh and Curious State Theatre Company is currently in production for ‘Where the Wildflowers Grow’, a site-responsive, interactive promenade show by Nick, to be staged in June.

 

We’re seeking teenage performers who will act as costumed stewards for this charming production, which will promenade through the Theatre Royal building and out on to Waterford city’s streets as the cast guide the audience.

 

Criteria: 

  1. Must have a minimum of 3 years performance experience with a youth arts organisation or stage/ theatre school.
  2. Must be available to attend part-time rehearsal outside school hours from 20th May and for performances between 7th and 16th
  3. Must be aged between 16& 18
  4. Must want to perform and be up for the craic!
