THEATRE ROYAL TO CO-HOST GOMA’S ‘2021 EMERGING CURATOR’
The Story
Theatre Royal’s beautiful 18th century vestibule will be the setting for an exciting new collaborative exhibition with GOMA Gallery of Modern Art Waterford later this year.
GOMA’s ‘2021 Emerging Curator Award’, which is open for applications until 15th March, is designed to provide a platform for Emerging Curators to research and engage.
The winning Curator will arrange a six-week exhibition that coincides with events arranged over two exhibition venues, Theatre Royal and GOMA.
The paid opportunity, which includes a €2,500 curatorial fee and separate exhibiting artist fees, is open to emerging curators that have knowledge and experience of contemporary visual arts in Ireland and beyond.
