MOUNT SION CHOIR CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS
With COVID-19 restrictions impacting live audiences, Waterford’s wonderful Mount Sion Choir instead took to social media this year to celebrate Christmas, recording videos for two songs in our beautiful vestibule as part of a ten-track ‘Fairytale of Waterford’ feature.
The show is a mix of music, special guests, acting and dancing, set to the backdrop of some of Waterford’s best-known locations. Ten Christmas songs were chosen to compliment this festive story.
‘O Holy Night’ by Niamh McKnight was recorded in front of the Theatre Royal’s beautiful Christmas tree and ‘Only You ‘was recorded on the steps in the lobby.
‘Fairytale of Waterford’ will premiere on the Mount Sion Choir Facebook page at 8pm on Sunday, December 20th.
