KEEPING THE LIGHT ON

The Story

During the first Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, four artists living within a 5 km radius of the theatre – a singer, a theatre actor, a spoken word artist and a musical theatre performer – were invited to perform on our stage.

Over the course of one day, each artist arrived at their designated time and, working with the theatre’s Technical Manager Dermot Quinn and John Loftus Media, performed and recorded a piece relevant to their art form.

Sit back and enjoy these wonderful performances, from Oatsie Jones, Joe Meagher, Andrew Holden and Greta Rochford, working with Theatre Royal Waterford to ‘keep the light on’ during dark days.
