David Hennessy Musical & Dramatic Society Waterford will make a welcome return to Waterford's Theatre Royal stage for ONE show only on Sunday 4th April (Easter Sunday) at 3.00pm with their production of Princess Classics “Once Upon A Dream".  

With Musical Direction by King David Hayes, the wonderful Princesses Holly Ryan and Phoebe Dipple will take you on a magical journey by singing your all-time favourite songs. From such classics as Beauty and The Beast, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Tangled, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, The Princess and The Frog and many more, this is a truly magical afternoon for all the family so don’t miss out! You will be able to dress-up, eat easter eggs and most importantly sing along to all your favourite songs.

Phoebe Dipple is a 22-Year-Old Vocalist, Musical Theatre Performer and Vocal Coach from Dungarvan, Ireland. She is currently in her final year at Cork School of Music where she is studying for her BA in Popular Music (Voice). She spent most of her childhood in the wonderful David Hennessy Stage School, and has been lucky enough to have performed in some stunning venues both in Ireland and abroad, including Cork Opera House, Bord Gais Energy Theatre, 3Arena Dublin, Theatre Royal Brighton (UK), John Hancock Theatre Boston USA and Symphony Space Broadway NYC.  Last January, she finished her run at Cork Opera House playing Wendy in their 2019/20 Pantomime 'Peter Pan' and has spent lockdown delving into her studies and completing the BAST 20 Hour Intensive Vocal Coaching Certification and been involved in a few recording projects with the wonderful David Hayes. Most excitingly, she had the opportunity to sing/record for the role of Maria, opposite Killian Donnelley for "Inside West Side", an exploration of the music of West Side Story, a project by David Hayes and Nick Bailey, and worked as a session vocalist recording Backing Vocals for The Olympia Panto and The Helix Panto. In recent years, she has been lucky enough to have played the title role Snow White in Cork Opera House's 2017-18 Pantomime, 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs', performed as lead vocalist with the Cork Pops Orchestra for their 2018/19 Season, performed as the lead vocalist with The Irish Philharmonic Orchestra as part of "The Snowman Live" in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and performed as lead vocalist for "Brown Thomas Christmas Window Launch" in both Dublin (2018) and Cork (2019). She is so excited to be working with David Hennessy again on this wonderful project- and hopes everyone tunes in and sings along! 



Holly Ryan is a Musical Theatre Performer from Waterford, Ireland living in London. She has been on stage since she was six years old and has done numerous productions in Waterford over the years. Holly was a member of The David Hennessy Stageschool from 2006-2015 and has been so blessed to perform in many beautiful theatres all over Ireland and abroad. 
Holly trained at The American Musical Theatre Academy in London. Holly’s next adventure takes her to Universal Studios Beijing where she will be a part of The Grand Opening Cast. Holly will be performing as a Lead Vocalist in one of their main shows.

Wendy in ‘Peter Pan’ (Live Business London), 
Sister Mary Robert in ‘Sister Act’ (Stockwell Playhouse London), 
Belle in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (Cork Opera House), 
Kim in ‘Miss Saigon (Belfast Opera House) 
Eponine in ‘Les Miserables’ (Belfast Opera House), 
Little Red Riding Hood in ‘Into the Woods’ and 
Wednesday in ‘The Addams Family (Garter Lane). 
One of her most memorable credits to date was playing Kim in ‘Miss Saigon’ (Theatre Royal) with the Southeastern Theatre Group. 
Other credits include: 
Featured Soloist in Gary Barlow’s Sing Tour (3Arena Dublin) under musical direction of David Hayes. 
Holly also performed as a vocalist in Messines, Belgium, under musical direction of Phil Brennan to celebrate the centenary of the 1914 Christmas Peace Truce which was then filmed for Nationwide. 
Holly is thrilled to be working with David Hennessy and David Hayes again on this magical project. She hopes you all enjoy the show!
