A NIGHT OF SPOKEN WORD

Isobel Tiernan and Martina Collender will be performing a Spoken Word night at the beatiful Theatre Royal Bar.

A  Night of Spoken Word exploring topics such as mental health, social media, social issues, relationships, love and heartache in a hilarious and thought provoking evening.

Tickets are €5.50 and the show begins at 8pm.

ISOBEL TIERNAN

Izzy Tiernan is a nineteen year old spoken word poet. Waterford born and raised, they have been writing and performing poetry for six years and was part of the Lit Young Writers Festival for four. They touch on subjects such as sexuality, mental health, love, loss and everything in between. Make sure to check out their production group Youth Arts Live, of which they are promoter for. 

MARTINA COLLENDER

Martina Collender is a Playwright, Director, Stage manager, Drama and Creative Writing tutor, Spoken Word Artist and Poet living and working in Waterford city and county. Her writing has been published in the Waxed Lemon and The Lonely Voice run by The Irish Writers Centre. She was chosen to take part in the Women X Boarders event run by the Irish Writers Centre in 2017. She teaches creative writing to young people aged 9 to 19 yrs, adults with disabilities and members of the LGBTQI plus Community at Waterford Youth Arts, Brothers Of Charity, Rehab Care Waterford and LINC.
