Debut Single Launch

VAGUE is an original music project taking inspiration from Soul, Pop, Funk, Folk, Punk, and Jazz.

Started by local performer Cilian Jacob (Divorce Party), he is writing and playing alongside other Waterford locals, Ken Lally (Divorce Party, Rain Dogs, Hurricanes), Killian Browne (Toucan, Backroad Smokers Club, Cal Pacino), and Eddie Blake (Anna Liese, Oran Byrne, Dave O’Sullivan).

This concert will be the release of the groups first single and their first public performance.

The ensemble of vocals, guitar, bass, keys, and drums will be joined by special musical guests on the night.

VAGUE’s influences include David Bowie, Chet Baker, Randy Newman, Blur, Van Morrison, The Clash, Paul Simon, The Band, Nina Simone, Talking Heads, Nilsson, and the list goes on.

“Cilian Jacob opened the night with a few unrecorded singles. Early on in the night, the crowd lived on the edges of the room, soaking up the moment and  Cilian’s smoothly sung lyrics reverently.”Hot Press
