MACBETH REVIEW

This 90-minute, interactive performance will select key scenes from MACBETH in order to help students decide how they understand and respond to the play’s central characters. An invaluable revision resource ahead of the Leaving Certificate, it will offer students the opportunity to ask questions of these central characters, to better understand what they say and why they say it, what they do and why they do it.

Directed by Theatre Royal artist in residence Jamie Beamish (Bridgerton; Derry Girls; Macbeth in Little Red Kettle’s recent production), the Review will include production elements based on the LRK show. Along with Jamie in the title role of Macbeth, it will also feature well-known Waterford actors Michael Quinlan, Anne O’Riordan, Andrew Holden and Jenny Fennessy and will be facilitated by retired English teacher Edward Denniston.
