CAL PACINO
With a deep rooting in world folk music and an academic background in jazz guitar – Cal Pacino takes on the soulful role as poet, all nested within the funky-fresh 2020’s kaleidoscope of genres.
With a base of jazz flavoured hip-hop, he adds a dash of wicked Irish wit that leaves a taste of more in our ears.
Always sowing seeds, creating portals through which we perceive the doorway to possibilities beyond, revealing new dimensions and modes of being.

2Time Charlie
2Time Charlie is a Waterford based Pop/Funk/Soul band. After forming initially as a cover 2-piece act in 2022 they received a positive response from the public.
Since then, they have expanded to a 6-piece band featuring, funky keyboards, groovy drums, a driving bass, electric guitar, and soulful vocals.
As of August 2023, they have released their debut EP ‘Everything’s Delicious’ which they have performed at their headline gig in Geoff’s Waterford City, Casey’s Wexford town and as of September 1st Electric Picnic.
Their EP can be found on all major streaming platforms.
Shane Barry & The Silver South Ensemble
Shane Barry is an eclectic multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer from Waterford.
Having originally found his voice fronting the acclaimed Shane Barry and the Distractions, releasing albums and touring internationally, the pause in performance opportunities in 2020 led to a rediscovery of enjoying music and writing songs.
Enough basic equipment was purchased to self-engineer his upcoming debut solo album, ‘Songs from the Silver South’.
Away from the time and financial pressures of the studio, the album was recorded in bedrooms, hallways and practice rooms over 2021 and 2022, while toddlers slept and neighbours mowed lawns.
The album aims to infuse ambient soundscapes with Beatles-inspired pop, to create a setting for the characters and places in each of the songs.
Shane has been replicating the ‘Songs from the Silver South’ sound live recently with a revolving cast of top-class musicians.
With two singles already having received national airplay, Shane Barry brings the excellent 10-piece Silver South Ensemble to the Theatre Royal on September 22nd.
