A New Musical For Waterford

Join us for the showing of a new musical currently in development, set in Waterford and influenced by the story of the Mount Sion Choir.

This modern Irish story of hope, togetherness and how the power of music can change your life is based on a book by Patrick O’Sullivan, with music and lyrics by Steven Markwick.

Patrick is originally from Tramore and has been working professionally in the UK theatre since 2005.

He spent 10 years at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch and 5 years in London’s West End. He is currently on the executive team of the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton.

Steven is a composer and lyricist and Vivian Ellis prize winner.

He has composed The Secret Garden which has many productions, most notably in Krakow which ran in rep for over 20 years.

As an MD he has worked for a number of UK Theatres, including Greenwich theatre where he has MD’d the panto since 2006.
