Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 showcase of young people’s theatre making skills

Theatre Royal and Curious State Theatre Company are seeking young theatre makers, musicians, singers and performers to take part in ‘The Dreamers’, an exciting outdoor showcase for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026.

Working with Nicholas Kavanagh of Curious State and a team of professional artists, you will get to take part in workshops where you will learn theatre skills and prepare for a live mini festival at the Theatre Royal on Saturday 6^th June, 1pm – 4pm.

This opportunity is open to young musicians and theatre makers aged 12 to 19yrs.

Applicants do not need to have previous experience in theatre but must be available for workshops on the following Saturdays: Saturday, 9^th,16^th, 23^rd and 30^th May (2-4pm).
